Floating Solar Workshop

13th September 2023 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm BST

The deployment of floating photovoltaics (FPV) is increasing rapidly across the globe, generally targeting both onshore and offshore locations where available land is scarce. Significant global investment in FPV installation is underway. However, many challenges exist for FPV technologies and research efforts are expected to gather pace. Intended to stimulate UK research activity in FPV, this FREE to attend online workshop, co-promoted with the Supergen Offshore Renewable Energy Hub, features key industry actors along with international and UK researchers working on both offshore and onshore FPV, who will present talks setting out the industry drivers, research challenges and potential impacts of FPV.
