Well-being and working from home – cross-hub webinar for early career researchers

2nd July 2020 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am BST

We are hosting a well-being and working from home webinar in a new series of cross-hub webinars to allow ECRs from all the Supergen Hubs to connect and share their experience under these challenging circumstances! The webinar will be delivered by Matt Dix, trainer and coach, from the University of Birmingham.

Matt has a broad range of experience gained over 25 years as a trainer, coach, counsellor and training manager within organisations ranging from policing, higher education, the voluntary/charitable sector and the private/commercial sector.

The webinar is on Thursday 2 July, at 10:30-11:30, and is hosted on Zoom https://bham-ac-uk.zoom.us/j/92427219651?pwd=WWJXODNZaksxOFh3NlhzUnhYaWxtdz09 (Password: 776887).

This session will assist you in reflecting on your own personal resilience in times of challenge. We will cover responses to opportunity and threat and explore the significance of our thoughts, behaviours and language in the context of our mental health and wellbeing.

We will also consider how to adjust our approach to managing time and energy when working from home, identifying what supports our resilience and how we can use our empathy effectively to assist others.

Please share this with anyone you think might be interested.
