C-DICE, the Centre for Postdoctoral Development in Infrastructure Cities and Energy brings together the collective expertise of the UKCRIC universities with the partners of the Energy Research Accelerator, working alongside research associations, institutes, and many leading industrial partners.
A C-DICE sandpit is a unique opportunity for teams of exclusively postdoctoral researchers to develop a collaborative research idea to win seed-corn funding and develop the idea further. Awards of up to £30K will be available. The sandpit themes will be around net zero for infrastructure, cities and energy.
Postdoctoral researchers at any C-DICE partner university (UKCRIC or ERA) are eligible to apply. Applications from early career researchers in industry are welcome, however should you become eligible to participate in a sandpit and win a team research award, any funding available to you will only be via a university-based sandpit team member.
